Clean Energy Fuels Corp., a provider of RNG fuel, has announced a slew of new deals with several well-known consumer brands and some of the nation’s largest and most environmentally-conscious transit agencies.

The Clean Fuels Alliance America and 75 industry stakeholders delivered a letter to President Joe Biden, urging him to ensure that the U.S. EPA substantially increases the biomass-based diesel (BBD) and advanced biofuels RVOs in the RFS "set" rule.

The IATA announced its expectation for overall renewable fuel production to reach an estimated capacity of at least 69 billion liters (55 million metric tons) by 2028, with SAF comprising a portion of that growing capacity.

The DOE has released its U.S. National Clean Hydrogen Strategy and Roadmap, which addresses both the potential to produce hydrogen from biomass and biogas and the growing need for hydrogen feedstock in advanced biofuels production, particularly SAF.

The USDA is holding a series of webinars to help organizations learn how to apply for a combined $11 billion it plans to award through two programs that support the deployment of clean and renewable energy, including eligible biomass projects.
